Sharjah, UAE – 2 November 2025
PublisHer, the international movement founded by Bodour Al Qasimi to support and advance the representation of women in publishing, returns to the Sharjah Publishers Conference with a dynamic three-day programme of discussion, mentorship and collaboration, on November 2,3 and 4.
Through lively and insightful panel discussions, networking sessions and industry exchanges, PublisHer will unite publishing leaders and changemakers from around the world to explore what’s new in technology, sustainability and inclusive leadership shaping the future of global publishing.
The PublisHer Lounge – offering a welcoming, collaborative space for publishers to connect and learn from each other – will be the beating heart of PublisHer’s activities throughout the conference. It is supported by Q7, Air Arabia, and the Sharjah Book Authority, PublisHer’s long-standing partners in empowering women and fostering global industry dialogue.
A highlight of PublisHer’s participation will be the signing of an MoU between PublisHer and BEEAH Group’s technology subsidiary, EVOTEQ. The agreement will be signed in the presence of PublisHer founder Bodour Al Qasimi and BEEAH Group CEO Khaled Al Huraimel by PublisHer Managing Director Zhora Qureshi and EVOTEQ CEO Jihad Tayara. It marks the beginning of a new strategic partnership aimed at strengthening PublisHer’s digital infrastructure and advancing its sustainability efforts.
Under the agreement, BEEAH Group will serve as Strategic Partner, while EVOTEQ will be the initiative’s Digital Partner. The collaboration will focus on developing PublisHer’s technology stack and enhancing its ability to connect its growing global network through smart, scalable digital tools.
Bodour Al Qasimi, Founder of PublisHer, said: ‘PublisHer’s mission has always been to ensure women have equal opportunities to lead, influence and innovate in publishing. The Sharjah Publishers Conference provides a powerful platform to share ideas, build partnerships and inspire industrywide action. Our new collaboration with BEEAH Group and EVOTEQ reinforces that mission by combining technology, sustainability and purpose to help us better connect and support women across the publishing world.’
At the Conference, PublisHer will also officially unveil its new membership program, a milestone initiative aimed at empowering women with essential skills and fostering stronger professional networks across the global publishing community.
Developed in partnership with EVOTEQ, PublisHer membership is a complimentary online portal that allows women in publishing to register and gain access to exclusive resources, networking opportunities, and professional development tools.
Further, a premium membership tier is set to launch in the first quarter of next year, offering an expanded suite of benefits and deeper engagement within PublisHer’s global ecosystem.
PublisHer’s conference programme includes panels on the evolving role of women in publishing leadership, sustainability in the creative industries, and digital transformation in content creation and distribution. It will also feature mentorship sessions for emerging professionals and curated networking moments aimed at strengthening collaboration between global and regional publishers.
Through its visible presence at the Sharjah Publishers Conference, PublisHer is furthering its commitment to equity, innovation and sustainability as cornerstones of the publishing industry’s future, and profiling Sharjah as a progressive, international hub for knowledge, creativity and cultural dialogue.
