Amber Henry is a Yellowknife publisher, author, and community literary organizer who loves helping Northern stories find their audience. Through her work with Northern Quill Publishing, she has supported books including Kahaɂa Tuwé: The Gateway to the Barren Lands, Y Spy: Yellowknife, and the award-winning children’s title The Last Tree.

Originally from Ontario, Amber lived in Dublin before moving to the Northwest Territories with her husband and falling in love with the creativity and diversity of Northern communities. With experience in non-profit work, small business, and event planning, she is passionate about supporting a wider range of storytellers and genres in Northern literature.
